“The Tale” is a wrenching new film starring Laura Dern and Ellen Burstyn. Written by director Jennifer Fox about her relationship with a 40 year old running coach she called “her lover” ----- when she was 13! She only realized it was child sexual abuse years later as an adult. “The Tale” explores this painful issue through the eyes of both an adult and a child, and received a standing ovation at the Sundance Film Festival.
